The coupled FVCOM-WRF model is configured with either hydrostatic or non-hydrostatic oceanic dynamics and can run with wave-current interactions. This model has examined the air-sea interaction processes attributed to the 2012 Hurricane Sandy\u2019s path and intensity in the U.S. Northeast and the 2017 Typhoon Hato in the South China Sea.
